Description
SCANTER Sphera provides true 3D volumetric surveillance with 360° horizontal and vertical coverage, detecting and tracking low, slow, and small drones that evade conventional radars. Powered by a pulse-based radar architecture, the system is inherently resistant to jamming and performs reliably in harsh environmental or electromagnetic conditions, whether at forward bases, border checkpoints, or critical infrastructure sites.
What sets SCANTER Sphera apart is its AI-based classification engine, which leverages micro-Doppler signatures and kinematic signatures to distinguish drones from birds, clutter, or weather and dramatically reduces false alarms. Operators can trust what they see, respond faster, and scale the system as needed. SCANTER Sphera can be deployed as a single radar or as part of a multi-radar setup for wide-area protection.
SCANTER Sphera: Redefining 3D Drone Detection for Base and Border Protection
The system is compact, rugged, and highly modular, allowing for rapid deployment. It integrates seamlessly into Terma’s T.react CIP C2 solution or third-party C2 systems, through open interfaces. With its software-defined architecture, SCANTER Sphera is ready for the future. AI models and detection logic can be updated remotely to counter evolving threats without hardware replacement.
SCANTER Sphera offers more than 3D detection. It delivers actionable insight. It gives base commanders and border patrol operators the response time to act decisively, with the confidence that they are seeing the full airspace picture, not just fragments of it.
As threats evolve, so must your detection strategy. Join us at MSPO 2025 to explore how SCANTER Sphera equips your mission with the technology to detect earlier, classify smarter, and respond faster.
