Description
We carry out projects, research, training and expertise in metal and alloys treatment, protective coating, electroplating, anti-corrosion protection, property safety, automation of production and assembly processes, machinery and equipment operation, etc.
Our experts and modern research equipment guarantee the highest quality and effectiveness of the products and services we provide, thus enabling your companies to achieve a competitive advantage in the market.
Among the solutions dedicated to the defense industry, it is worth mentioning:
1. Non-destructive eddy current technology for quality control of military equipment components, including ammunition shells, weapon parts, arms and artillery ammunition, etc.
2. Surface treatment technologies, including diffusion boriding, heat and thermo-chemical treatment, thermal spraying or electroplating of gold-nickel coatings, which increase the durability of metal components, such as parts of small arms, artillery weapons, military vehicles, etc.
3. Corrosion risk assessment for key elements of infrastructure, equipment and facilities in military units, reducing losses due to inadequate peacetime environmental protection.
4. Training services in the field of special trade concessions, as well as breaching. Łukasiewicz - WIT offers a one-day training course culminating in an exam to prepare for obtaining an MSWiA concession. The Institute's offer also includes breaching training in overcoming building partitions, including obstacles with increased resistance to attack (anti-intrusion doors, RC4-RC6, anti-explosion doors and partitions, bulkheads), by means of manipulative, mechanical, exothermic, hydraulic methods, or with the use of firearms.
5. Opinion and consultation on premises and security devices (mechanical, electronic, physical protection), intended for storage of explosives, weapons, ammunition and other licensed products (base and field), classified offices, critical infrastructure buildings, bunkers, shelters, base stations, in accordance with legislative requirements and good practices of anti-terrorist security.
6. A high retandant fire protection board of class A1 according to EN 13501-1 and the building material standard DIN 4102, it is an essential part of the protection system for civil and military buildings. In the event of fire or explosion, it protects them from damage and their occupants from the negative effects of heat and open flames. Together with the Recyklofiber insulation board made from textile waste, the heat storage accumulating energy from photovoltaic panels and modular building technology, it will find application in protective construction.
