Description
The municipality of Karlstad is one of the 25 biggest municipalities in Sweden with approximately 100,000 inhabitants. The city is located in a beautiful surrounding on top of one of Europe’s biggest lakes Vänern. The city has a strategic location in Scandinavia along the infrastructure ways (road, railway, aviation) between the capital cities of Stockholm and Oslo and the port of Gothenburg. Karlstad is one of the cities in the security belt cooperation.
