Scattered Mining Vehicle BAOBAB-K is a vehicle designed to deploy minefields of various sizes, density and self-destruction time. The minefield laying process is fully automated and carried out using a control station, which allows quick transition from transport to combat mode (and vice versa). In automatic mode, the computer calculates the speed of the vehicle, launcher settings and adjusts the frequency of launching mines while driving to ensure the correct parameters of the minefield. Additionally, minefield parameters and coordinates of minefield corners are recorded on digital maps. All the data can then be sent via radio to higher command level.
