GALPERTI TECH FORGED PRODUCTS S.p.A. scope of supply are in house designed, manufactured and tested slew bearings, geared rings and other forged products.
Said finished products are manufactured from forged or forged and rolled, quench and temper or normalized steel parts GTECH sources from GALPERTI GROUP.
Source material is steel billet, continuous cast, ingot or linear rolled bar.
GTECH can in house design, calculate, build and certify 3.1 with in house material destructive tests, 3.2 with certification Authorities (ABS, BV, LR, DNV, RMRS, CCS, etc.).
GTECH has extensive experience in handling Design Approvals and Product Certificates.
Defense applications supplies: bearings for azimuth and elevation for cannon turrets for ships and ground vehicles, for mobile and stationary radars and for rocket launchers. Forged parts supply are semi-finished barrels and barrels housing, breechblocks, bolts and percussion pins.
Marine applications supplies: bearings for ship radars, deck cranes, winches for various marine applications (e.g. mooring systems, susbea payload delivery); swivel joints for hose reels, azimuth thrusters and gangways.
Bearing and geared rings sizes range from 250-300 mm until 7.000 mm OD, larger diameters are manufactured as segmented rings.
Stiffening flanges and non-circular shaped special forged products are in the scope of supply.
