Our sulfur mine, Basznia II, located in Basznia Dolna in the Subcarpathian region, is one of only two active mines worldwide using modern underground melting methods for native sulfur. The native sulfur extracted by the PBI Group is a top-quality raw material, characterized by a purity level of 99.98%. As a result, it finds applications in various industries, including fertilizer production, plant protection agents, sulfuric acid, tires, synthetic fibers, cosmetics, and the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The raw material for the production of lime-magnesium fertilizers is obtained from our own dolomite mines located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
