KOMAG Accredited Laboratory, Notified Body No. 1456, carries out tests of toys’ safety for conformity with the requirements of the standards harmonized with 2009/48/EC Toy Safety Directive. In this range, the Laboratory offers tests of physical, chemical and electrical properties as well as tests of flammability performed according to PN-EN 71 and PN-EN 62115 Standards. The tests also include determination of hazardous substances in the products intended for children, according to REACH, RoHS and CLP requirements. Moreover, the Laboratory conducts safety tests of prams, baby carriers, walking frames, high chairs soothers, utensils for drinking and feeding, baby chaise lounges, changing units, safety barriers and playpens as well as cots. The accreditation also includes tests of playground equipment according to PN-EN 1176 and PN-EN 1177 Standards.
