SOR is a Czech bus manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in designing and producing vehicles for urban, suburban and regional transport. Since the beginning of its operations, the company has focused on developing practical, economical and modern solutions that meet the real needs of transport operators and public transport authorities.
SOR offers a wide range of buses with lengths from approximately 8 to 18 metres. The company’s portfolio includes urban and regional buses, conventionally powered vehicles, hybrid solutions and modern electric buses. Thanks to its diverse product range, SOR vehicles can be adapted to the requirements of intensive urban routes as well as local, suburban and regional services.
Electromobility is one of the key areas of SOR’s development. The company has many years of experience in designing and manufacturing electric buses, with SOR vehicles operating every day on regular public transport routes in European cities. The current generation of electric buses combines modern drivetrains, high passenger capacity and solutions that allow vehicle configurations to be tailored to the individual requirements of each operator.
Buses designed for regional and intercity transport also remain an important part of the company’s portfolio. SOR continues to develop vehicles that meet the needs of operators providing both regular passenger services and transport services organised by local authorities.
The company has its own engineering, research and development, and production facilities in Libchavy, Czech Republic. This enables SOR to manage the entire vehicle development process - from initial design and engineering through production to the final assembly of buses.
SOR vehicles operate on the roads of many European countries, including Poland. The Polish market has been an important part of the company’s activities for many years, with SOR buses used by municipal public transport companies, regional carriers and private operators.
