ALUMETAL-TECHNIK

Description
A SHOT BLAST MACHINE DOES NOT EARN MONEY WHEN IT STANDS STILL. ABRASIVE IS NOT CHEAP IF IT QUICKLY TURNS INTO DUST.

In a foundry, the cost of cleaning castings rarely depends on a single parameter. It is usually determined by the entire system: an excessively long cycle, an unstable operating mix, excessive consumption of abrasive and spare parts, ineffective separation, and failures that turn the shot blast machine into a production bottleneck.

Alumetal-Technik does not start with the price per tonne or a machine catalogue. We start with the process: the geometry of the casting or forging, the required surface quality, cycle time, abrasive consumption, and the condition of the blast wheels, separator and filtration system. Based on this information, we select the solution and calculate its impact on TCO.

ABRASIVE MEDIA

We select the grain size, hardness and operating mix for the actual working conditions. In a properly configured process, VERA® shot can achieve a service life 30–50% longer than standard high-carbon steel shot and reduce annual shot blasting costs by at least 10%. DIAMANT can shorten processing time by up to 50% and reduce the cost of cleaning 1 m² by 20–40%. SPAJIĆ® cut wire shot can shorten processing time by up to 50%, while its service life may be two to three times longer than that of round steel shot. The result: fewer top-ups, less waste, shorter cycles and more stable surface quality.

SHOT BLASTING MACHINES

We supply Kovo Staněk wheel blasting machines designed around component geometry, required throughput and production organization: tumble belt, rotary table, hanger, pass-through machines, as well as systems with a mobile blast-wheel unit. The result: a machine matched to the process, rather than a process forced to operate within the limitations of a randomly selected machine.

USED SHOT BLASTING MACHINES

Not every production objective requires the purchase of a new machine. We select used shot blast machines based on component geometry, expected throughput, cycle time, available floor space and the customer’s budget. Before making a recommendation, we assess the technical condition of the key components, spare-parts availability and the required scope of modernisation. The result: lower CAPEX and a shorter path to increased production capacity, without purchasing a machine whose parameters or refurbishment costs do not match the plant’s actual requirements.

SPARE PARTS

We select and supply compatible blades, control cages, impellers, liners, rollers, elevator components and abrasive handling system parts for machines from a wide range of manufacturers. Correct fit and consistent material properties reduce vibration, uneven wear and the risk of blast-wheel damage. The result: shorter downtime, a predictable maintenance budget and less dependence on long OEM lead times.

Bring us 4 figures: abrasive consumption, cycle time, spare-parts cost and the number of downtime hours. Instead of talking about “th
