The WinDoGlass Innovation business expo, whose agenda is enhanced by an intensive program of accompanying events. From 25 to 27 September, Targi Kielce offers the show participants the opportunity to attend workshops conducted by specialists in assembly and automation, as well as presentations of new technologies and panel discussions on the future of the industry

The first day of the event, 25 September, will be devoted to energy efficiency of buildings and the role of properly selected and installed joinery. Experts from the Polish Window and Door Association will present the impact of modern window systems on the energy balance, as well as the use of low-emission and dynamically controlled electronically glazed glass, to name a few. In the context of the growing importance of sustainable construction, Karol Pięta from EPPA Polska will discuss the consequences of EU regulations – the EPBD Directive and the CPR Regulation – for manufacturers and distributors, focusing on the recycling of materials and the need to adapt to green standards.

One of the key topics of the lecture will be the export opportunities for Polish companies. The analysis of the activities of the Polish Construction Cluster shows that domestic producers have the opportunity to further expand into the demanding Western European markets, provided that they consistently implement product innovations and certifications in accordance with international requirements.

At the same time, new assembly tools will be tested, including milling machines and guides for air vent holes, the premiere of which was announced during this edition of the fair.

The Association of Joinery Installers will also make a strong statement, associating professional fitters of construction joinery – windows, doors, gates and facades – as well as companies that support the development of competences in this profession with the aim is to raise assembly standards, promote good construction practices and professionalise the profession of fitter in Poland.

The second day, 26 September, will be devoted to the glass industry. Leading research institutes from the Łukasiewicz Research Network will discuss the thermal properties of building glass and the legal requirements related to its use in buildings.  In an era of rising energy costs and changing environmental standards, these topics have a direct impact on the design and implementation of modern passive buildings.

The final day – 27 September – will be reserved for individual clients and private investors, who, in addition to participating in shows and presentations, will have the opportunity to benefit from expert advice from the “Clean Air” program specialists.
