Technology that enhances pedestrians' safety will be presented in Targi Kielce from 14 to 16 May

To make pedestrians more visible!

The 10th TRAFFIC-EXPO-TIL - a showcase for the latest pedestrians-protection technologies by DVS

Life pace is increasing at an alarming rate. When this translates into our cars' speedometers, especially when we want arrive places quickly, it becomes more and more touch and go situation.

An effective pedestrians protection created by DVS is a cutting-edge and most effective system for pedestrians protection when at the zebra crossing. The system's main elements are; the WFD-103 radars and the latest D6 road-sign with pedestrian crossings lighting system and the dual motion sensors.

The latest-technology based devices are multi-directional:

They increase pedestrian safety zone from 4m to over 150m
Effectively reduces the speed of the drivers a few dozen or even a few hundred meters before the pedestrians-protecting zebra crossing
Increases the light power to 100% when the pedestrian is in the vicinity of the crossing, this also has a direct influence on the driver's reaction
Provides the driver with earlier information about a pedestrian crossing the road when the weather conditions are bad - this is an indispensable option
The system can be applied in virtually all kind of crossings.
Displays any message (WATCH OUT FOR PEDESTRIANS!, SLOW DOWN!, CHILDREN! SLOW DOWN, SCHOOL AHEAD! SLOW DOWN) in case there is a pedestrian near the road.
This also eliminates the drivers' habituation effect at seeing the constantly blinking traffic signs - here the driver is given a clear signal that there is a pedestrian crossing or intends to cross the road.
Owing to high-efficiency light sources and special-design controller as well as utilisation of latest control technologies, the entire system can be solar-powered (based on renewable energy sources).
The system's high energy efficiency makes it possible to use smaller-capacity batteries and a smaller solar panel, when the system is solar-powered.
Not only does it make the solution more environmental-friendly, this is no longer a landscape-blot with a huge solar panel.
