The official opening of the roofing industry trade fair included the gala ceremony - the best companies received awards, medals and distinctions. Leading companies with the greatest achievements, products and services were selected from among nearly 150 exhibitors representing eight. Exhibitors showcase the latest technological achievements and a wide range of products and services.

This year’s 3rd Congress and Expo for Roofers, Tinsmiths and Carpenters is really impressive. 150 exhibitors - roofing market leaders from eight countries, i.e. France, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia and Lithuania. The agenda includes many knowledge-packed events, congresses, finals of national competitions and talk-shop meetings. There will also be attractions galore for women and children – explained Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce.

- We are very pleased to participate again in this expo - the fastest-growing trade fair in this industry. I'm looking forward to seeing all the expo stands prepared for the expo. We have prepared four zones for visitors, including the world's largest Roofing Master competition with handsome prizes for competing roofers. – explained Mateusz Małek, Director of  Marketing and PR of the Blachotrapez Group, the strategic expo sponsor.

- I am glad that this expo has become the largest meeting of roofing brothers in Poland. I think that the Roof Expo is now the most significant event in our part of Europe. I am proud that roofers, sheet metal workers and carpenters in Poland have strongly united. When we started working on the Roof Forum, hardly did I dream that we would be able to achieve something this - emphasised Michał Sadko from the Carpentry Academy, the President of the National Guild of Sheet Metal Roofers and Carpenters "Wiecha".

The first awards were presented by the President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce, Doctor Andrzej Mochoń and engineer Krzysztof Patoka - representative of the Jury Panel.

Distinctions in the innovation have been presented to:

• FAKRO for FPP-X preSelect MAX P50 APMX GreenView,
• Budmat Bogdan Więcek for the Flamingo iQ Square Steel Gutter System.

Distinctions - the roofing and accessories category - the winning companies:

• Electrotile for eTile Classic,
• Blachotrapezium by BTR Systems - rock aggregate coverings,
• BMI Polska for Figaroll ® Plus,
• PREFA Polska for the FX.12 roof panel.

Distinctions in the ECOLOGY category went to the following companies:

• Root BD - Natureheld Polska for WAND UDP-A, an ecological wood fibre insulation board with a negative carbon footprint,
• Bauder Polska for BauderECO.

Gold Medals of the Roof Forum 2024 Fair in the innovation category - the winning companies:

• Blachotrapez for PBC Panels Light Photovoltaic Panel,
• Velux Polska for VELUX Adjustable central gutter.

The Gold Medal of the Roof Forum 2024 Expo in the machines and tools category awarded to:

• High-Tech behind GEDA AkkuLeiterLIFT – Solar version.
