The PAIH Polish Investment and Trade Agency office in Kielce is already open. Inauguration with the participation of the minister and entrepreneurs at the expo centre

04 July 2025
The Regional Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is headquartered in the Kielce Industrial Park and will be headed by Ewa Kapel-Śniowska, as announced on Friday, July 4, at Targi Kielce

The conference was inaugurated with a press briefing, during which the following speakers presented: Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology; Michał Skotnicki, Deputy Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship; Agata Wojda, Mayor of Kielce; MEP Adam Jarubas; and Paweł Pudłowski, Vice President of PAIH.

- I am very glad that right here, on the premises of Targi Kielce, which currently serves as the economic embassy of the region, we can jointly open the Regional Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency;  the place will ensure that companies from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, especially from the SME sector, will receive real support in terms of export and development on foreign markets – said Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk. As he pointed out, Polish entrepreneurs, especially those from the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, have enormous potential and great ambitions related to foreign expansion. The role of the state administration is to create appropriate conditions for them to achieve this objective.

The importance of PAIH's presence in Kielce was emphasised, indicating that the office will provide real support for local companies that want to enter foreign markets or attract investors to the region.

- Why are the Regional Trade Offices of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency so vital?  Because large companies can cope, it is precisely small and medium-sized enterprises, the primary recipients of our offer, that need individual support. The idea is to reach them locally, help assess their export potential and show that what they do can have a tangible impact on foreign markets.  Too often, we underestimate the quality of our products and services. In today's global economy, expanding sales markets are becoming increasingly crucial for further development," said Paweł Pudłowski, Vice President of the Management Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

PAIH experts on expansion and investments in Targi Kielce

During the conference, PAIH experts presented tools that support the export and investment activities of companies. Katarzyna Świderska presented the possibilities of cooperation with PAIH Regional Trade Offices. Maciej Srebro discussed practical aspects of expansion into global markets, and Arkadiusz Tarnowski spoke about investment prospects in the region. Diana Piotrowska spoke about the Polish Technological Bridges and BrandHub programs.

The presentations provided participants with a concrete understanding of available support instruments, as well as inspiration to consider new directions for company development in the context of foreign markets.

Debate on local business with global ambitions

There was a special point of the agenda - the debate “Local Business. Global Reach.” moderated by Marcin Graczyk, PAIH press spokesman.  The session featured Łukasz Syska, First Deputy Mayor of Kielce, Agata Binkowska, President of the Starachowice Special Economic Zone, Aneta Oleszek, President of PODOPHARM, Karol Kaczmarski from Lewiatan and Ewa Kapel-Śniowska from RBH Kielce.

The meeting concluded with a networking session and lunch, providing an opportunity for entrepreneurs to discuss their experiences with PAIH representatives and exchange insights with companies interested in foreign expansion.

The opening of the PAIH Regional Trade Office in Kielce is an important step in the economic development of the region  as entrepreneurs from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship have gained local access to comprehensive support in the field of export, which may translate into the development of their activities outside the country and an increase in the investment attractiveness of the region.

Cooperation between Targi Kielce and PAIH

Targi Kielce has been cooperating with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency since 2023.  The office located right next door, in the Kielce Industrial Park, will certainly enhance our cooperation. We hope that with the help of the office, we will increase the number of foreign entrepreneurs participating in our events," says Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce. - I wish Mrs. Ewa Kapel-Śniowska, the manager  will manage to find companies that will invest and build factories in investment areas, including those in Obice near Kielce, where the airport was to be built. I hope that these companies will be among the most recognisable brands in the world.
