The official inauguration of the school year for uniformed classes with the participation of Minister Błaszczak
– This year, military preparation units’ headcount has reached 28,000 cadets who see their future in the Polish Army. Weapons and modern equipment that Poland has at its disposal will not serve the defence of our country if they are not used by well-trained staff - Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence, said during the inauguration. This year, the number of uniformed classes and students increased by one-third compared to last year. – I am glad that this form of education has become more popular. This education is the pass to the army and military universities - he added.
The gala school year inauguration witnessed Minister Błaszczak handing out awards to selected students of uniformed classes, wishing them success and congratulating them on choosing a uniformed major in their education. – I feel proud and satisfied with the Polish youth who took up education in uniformed classes and want to devote their time to enhance the security of the country – Brigadier General Mirosław Bryś addressed the gathering.
At the end of the ceremony, students of uniformed classes of ZDZ in Kielce presented a spectacular parade drill, applauded by the minister and the guests.
