Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński visited the Centre two days before the beginning of the 31st International Defence Exhibition in Targi Kielce during the PiS convention. He also met the president of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochon, talking about topics important for MSPO, as well as recalling the previous visits of the PiS leader to the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. As the Prime Minister of the Polish government, Jarosław Kaczyński visited MSPO in 2006 accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister Przemysław Gosiewski. The visit immortalized in the photos found its place on the pages of the album, which documents the 30-year history of the Kielce defence trade show. Jarosław Kaczyński is the first person to receive a publication prepared by employees of Targi Kielce.
- Each page of this album is hours of searching, checking people’s names and positions. Watching archival films took hours. Above all, the history of our service in building state security and modernizing the Polish army marks the publication – emphasized Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce, during the meeting with the PiS leader.
The head of the ruling party expressed his hope for further visits to Targi Kielce, placing an entry in the visitors' book:
“… With gratitude for the invitation to this extraordinary place, with the memory of previous stays that were important military trade fair and with the hope that I will be here more often in the capacity of the MP representing This Land...”
Mr Andrzej Duda, the Republic of Poland President's Auspices have been granted to the expo. The show will begin with the roll-call of Uniform Classes, which will be presided by the head of the Ministry of Defence, Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Błaszczak. The opening ceremony will also be attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army, General Rajmund Andrzejczak.
31st MSPO brings together over 700 companies from 35 countries. For the needs of the exhibition, Targi Kielce built an additional - temporary expo hall. The exhibition will therefore be held in 8 pavilions. The largest expo stand is operated by Polish Armaments Group - the MSPO's strategic partner.
