The European OSCE summit managed by Targi Kielce!

The agreement related to the OSCE Ministerial Council in Łódź was signed on Thursday, 27 October. The signatories - are Targi Kielce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The preparation of the European summit, which is held at the beginning of December, is the first event of this scale to be organised by Targi Kielce outside the expo centre; until now, similar congresses were managed by Poznań International Fair.

- Targi Kielce joined the tender for the OSCE conference organisation together with the El Padre Event Agency in Warsaw - explains Andrzej Mochoń PhD., President of the Board of Targi Kielce. - The task of the consortium established by both companies, with Targi Kielce in the capacity of the leader, is to develop and deliver an architectural concept and conduct an event for 1,300 people.

In addition to the architectural design, the Targi Kielce - El Padre consortium offers interior design, equipment for conference rooms, arrival zones for heads of delegations, greetings, the OSCE centre for documentation and conference support, offices for OSCE conference and language services, offices for press services and spokesperson and zones for journalists complemented with other facilities, e.g. a medical point. The tasks include the preparation of technical, IT, television and media infrastructure as well as systems of accreditation and identification of participants, information materials and elements of visual identification.

The December Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, chaired by Poland this year, is attended by 57 foreign ministers of the participating states. Diplomats come to Łódź at the special invitation of the OSCE chairman, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau. On 1 and 2 December, they meet in the rooms of the revitalised EC1, a former power plant and the Łódź Fabryczna railway station.

The Lodz summit will recap Poland's presidency in the OSCE.
