The PREVAC company specializes in vacuum technology; at the CONTROL-TECH Expo it will be presenting its helium leak detector PHOENIX L300i.

This is the latest version of the leak detector designed for helium and hydrogen. Leakage is determined by the location and measurement of the helium volumes in a particular device with the use of a mass spectrometer that detects helium or hydrogen molecule.

The current detector's version also allows to connect with the iPad; if equipped with appropriate software iPad enables wireless control over the detector in addition to the data read-out and store functions. The user may enjoy a revolutionary control. The detector also is also equipped with the service menu in many languages, including Polish. PHONIX L300i detector is equipped with a clear and easy to read display with quick start / shutdown function and a set of individual test profiles. In addition, barcode scanner can be optionally connected with the detector. 

Helium leak detectors are used in the automotive industry, metallurgy / vacuum furnaces, vacuum sputtering, lamps and tubes production, refrigeration and air conditioning, power plants, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, analytical technology and laser particle accelerators and high and ultra high vacuum applications.
