The series of panels at the Private Label Forum and the XPAND conference held within the scope of the Private Label Expo was a unique opportunity to discuss key challenges, trends and development prospects for the private label industry, as well as solutions influencing the consumer market

Knowledge-packed lectures and expert debates

The Private Label Forum was inaugurated with a Przemysław Korotusz presentation on "Awakening of the Industry. Dynamic development or stable growth? The Evolution of Private Label Sales” which outlined the latest trends and challenges for the private label sector in Poland. Participants of the expert debate entitled: "Private Brand Strikes Back" discussed whether private labels are already a real competitor to branded products and to what extent these products are crucial to the success of both retailers and manufacturers today. Experienced experts attended the panel:  Robert Krzak - Senior Advisor, EY Polska; Iwona Sarga - President of the Społem National Trading Platform; Maciej Włodarczyk - President of the Management Board of Iglotex SA; Krystyna Domagalska - Head of the Sales Marketing Department at Lewiatan Holding SA; Łukasz Szczęsny - Director of Sales, Marketing and Product Development SPS Handel; Edyta Dembińska - Private Label Manager, SPAR; Marek Bąk - Director of Expansion and Development of Dawtona Group and Łukasz Mastalerz - Member of the Management Board of KGS SA. Presentations at the Private Label Forum on challenges and opportunities related to export and import were given by Marek Marzec as part of his session "Invasion of the Clones". Paweł Jurowczyk discussed private label from a demand and supply perspective and the differences between store formats. The agenda also included Marek Marc’s presentation on "Challenges of Private Label Manufacturers and IFS Standards-Based Solutions" and a presentation by Tomasz Pawłowski on the role of business consultants. A modern approach to promoting private label products by emphasising their nutritional value was the culmination

Targi Kielce’s Private Labels Forum and XPAND Conference

XPAND panels started with a session dedicated to "Industries of the future", focusing on expansion opportunities for Polish companies in the Middle East and North Africa;  Ahmed Hamouda, Marta Stelmach, Leszek Krawczyk and Janek Boberek discuss the sectors that can succeed in these dynamically developing markets and strategies to help Polish companies take advantage of the opportunities that arise. The panel on "Is MENA a single market?"  brought together experts - including Ahmed Hamouda, Marta Stelmach, Leszek Krawczyk and Houssem Kaabi. They analySed the specificity of the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) from the perspective of cultural, economic and legal differences. The discussion allowed a better understanding of the nuances of individual countries and for some companies to understand how to adapt their approach to their specific requirements. The "Expansion into Saudi Arabia: Challenges and Opportunities"  panel  made it possible for the participants to learn about the details of the Saudi market. The attendees also learned about the success story of one of the companies operating in the region. Marta Stelmach, Damian Lewandowski and Leszek Krawczyk shared practical advice and talked about the challenges associated with entering this prestigious but demanding market.
