One of the many DOM exhibitors is Komandor; the company's products assortment has been cut out for the most demanding customers. Komandor introduces innovative solutions and new products every now and again. This time will the trade fair will be the showcase for the Heliodor -a  new frameless sliding door system for cabinets and wardrobes. This is a world-scale unique solution now available at Poland's furniture. Heliodor system is first and foremost modern in design, it features a subtle finish, invisible frames. The doors open and close with the use of  a special Comfort Touch door-closer.

 - Current global-markets' trends in furniture industry and in cabinets and sliding door fittings in particular opt for the least visible door profile. Our market-presence in 38 countries makes it possible to verify and adjust our offer in order to suit the market needs. The Heliodor system, already available in our stores in Poland, is a response to such market demands. - explains  Tomasz Świlczewski, Marketing Director Commander SA.

 Heliodor's main characteristic is that the sliding doors have virtually invisible profiles or alternatively the door is based on a thin frame. The Comfort Touch door closer makes the Heliodor system the first sliding door system with the "press and open" mechanism. This provides for functionality and at the same time gives the interior a touch of modern design.

 Discrete and elegant

The Heliodor system profiles are available in the two colours: natural anode and Champagne-anode. The narrow frame is the system's main feature.  -Thus the cabinet doors' fronts look softer; this solution helps to bring out the wood pattern, the board design or light reflections in glass panels. Thus the wardrobe becomes much more than a piece of furniture or a fitting, this is a discreet and unobtrusive accent which defines the room's image and climate.  - adds  Monika Szczesny, the Komandor designer.

 This system includes profiles for glass in-fills of 4 mm and board in-fills of 10 mm. The system's biggest advantage is that it allows to use large board surface, there is no need to divide or use aluminium frames. In this system a glass or board in-fill can be glued straight onto an aluminium door frame structure.

 This solution makes the door front look frameless, and thus the interior character becomes more modern. Designers and architects emphasize the fact that sliding doors should be light and aesthetic. Therefore the Heliodor system has been cut out for most demanding customers who are into elegance and seek unconventional solutions.

Push to open

 The interior development becomes even more attractive with the Heliodor system's additional features such as self-triggered and intuitive closing system. The system's important feature is the possibility of mounting Comfort Touch door-closer. A slight press on the door makes it 2 centimetres ajar. You put your hand into the opening and push the door aside. End-doors in Heliodor system should be equipped with Comfort Touch door-closer.

Advantages of the Comfort Touch door-closer:

• In addition to being a guide, this is also a quiet door-closer with push-to-open function. Once pressed on the surface, the door opens.
• The door-closer's body is practically invisible when the door is open as it is mounted on the door and not on the guide.
• Easy to install - the upper track has a screw-in knob for the door-closer

The door can be filled with 4 mm (glass) and 10 mm (wood-board) in-fills.
