REGUPOL protective devices for PV and solar installations on flat roofs

REGUPOL protective solutions for photovoltaic and solar installations on flat roofs are sheets developed in accordance with DIN 18531 and designed to reliably protect the roof waterproofing membrane from mechanical loads during installation and operation. As a result, the sealing system's durability and the entire system's operational safety on the roof are increased.

Solutions are available in several variants to suit different design requirements:

• version with flame retardant properties (BROOF(t1)) – intended for projects with increased fire protection requirements; supports fire protection assumptions for rooftop PV systems,
• version with aluminium lamination – recommended especially for membranes that are not compatible with rubber (e.g. selected plastic membranes); the aluminium layer acts as a separation layer and limits the migration of plasticisers between the membrane and the protective layer,
• self-adhesive version – facilitates installation, enabling quick and safe positioning and attachment of the protective layer, also on more complex roof structures.

REGUPOL also offers cut-to-size and custom designs, allowing optimal adjustment of the protective layer to a specific mounting system or PV installation substructure.
