Poland's first NGO-EXPO has commenced! The show bring together organisations which respond to social challenges

The richness of forms of non-governmental organisations' activities. NGO-EXPO National Fair of Non-governmental Organizations, launched on Thursday, 27 October is the best presentation platform for diversity and abundance. The NGO-EXPO National Fair of Non-Governmental Organisations, organised by the Stefan Artwiński National Freedom Institute - Centre for Civil Society Development.

The stronger the civil society, the more professional and institutionalised, the stronger Poland is. And the more effective is Poland to respond to needs and challenges such as the covid-19 pandemic, and support for those fleeing the war. The more efficient are we in integration - emphasised Michał Rulski, deputy director of the National Freedom Institute - Centre for Civil Society Development upon the event opening. As he emphasised, the two-day expo is the time for non-governmental organisations to exchange experiences, establish cooperation, network, create federations.  

The opening ceremony was also attended by the Vice President of Targi Kielce, Bożena Staniak, Senator Krzysztof Słoń, Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Province Zbigniew Koniusz, Deputy Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Province Renata Janik, Deputy Governor Rafał Nowak, Mirosław Gębski, Starost of the Kielce County.  

- You see nuances that others cannot even notice. You react to make people's life better - voivode Zbigniew Koniusz addressed representatives of non-governmental organisations. - Your work during the pandemic. The help that you offered to those fleeing the war cannot be overestimated. 

- I am proud that this expo is held in the Świętokrzyskie region - said Deputy Marshal Renata Janik. - NGOs are a key partner for the Marshal's Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship,  thus I am glad to meet you here today. Support each other and unite in projects. This expo is the time for you.

75 exhibitors present their offer at Targi Kielce's two days' expo. The offer of activities is very diverse, ranging from rural housewives' clubs, professional activity establishments, foundations, universities of the third age, senior clubs, and development support societies. You can also participate in numerous panels and workshops discussing development, management, raising money for activities.
