PLN 69,000 from the pigeon auction at Targi Kielce earamarked to aid children in need
Of this amount, PLN 49,000 will go to the Świętokrzyskie Pediatric Centre of the Provincial Hospital in Kielce, and PLN 20,000 to the Educational and Care Centre in Skarżysko-Kamienna.
80 pigeons for a good cause
This is another year in which the Kielce district of the Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders organises an auction at Targi Kielce. This year, 80 pigeons were auctioned, donated by breeders from all over Poland. Among them were birds representing a high sporting class, originating from the best flight lines. Breeders emphasise that participating in the auction is not only an opportunity to acquire a valuable bird for their breeding, but also a chance to help those in need. Many of them have been supporting the campaign for years, treating it as an important element of environmental solidarity.
Joint initiative, big hearts
The auction was held, as usual, with the great involvement of volunteers and representatives of the Kielce district of the PZHGP. The organisers point out that the donors – both those donating the pigeons and those taking part in the auction – form a unique community of sensitive people ready to help.
Targi Kielce has hosted the event for years, supporting the initiative and emphasising its importance to the region.
