MSPO Programme Board reviews this year’s expo and sets course for the next
The board looked back at how the latest International Defence Industry Exhibition had gone and what it had achieved. Ministry of National Defence officials gave this year’s event a positive assessment, stressing its importance as a meeting place for the armed forces, government and the defence industry.
Expo Kielce was represented by President Andrzej Mochoń, Director Arkadiusz Krzeczkowski, Agnieszka Białek and Katarzyna Kocuba. The Expo Kielce team thanked the Ministry of National Defence for its commitment and cooperation in organising the Exhibition. It was emphasised that close cooperation between the organiser and the Defence Ministry is one of the cornerstones of MSPO’s growth and of its strengthening international position.
Live demonstration for foreign delegations to become a permanent MSPO fixture
One of the items discussed was the future format of the live demonstrations. Under the proposals discussed, the live demonstration held for foreign delegations on the eve of MSPO is set to become a regular part of the Exhibition programme.
This will allow foreign guests to see what the military equipment on show can do in demonstration conditions before the expo itself opens. It will also complement the exhibits and business meetings that form a central part of MSPO.
The Programme Board meeting was also an opportunity to exchange views on how the event should develop and on cooperation between the institutions involved in organising it.
The International Defence Industry Exhibition remains an important platform for dialogue between the military, government and the defence industry, and preparations for the next edition will continue in partnership with the Ministry of National Defence.
