ICE-COLD EXPERIMENTS, LIGHTNING THEATRE, POLYMER BUG

21 january 2015
Do it yourselves with FUNIVERSITY - come and see at the EDUKACJA Expo

We have always dreamed about putting a lab-attire on conducting the craziest or the most impressive and spectacular experiment you can think of. Targi Kielce Kids' Time Expo held on 11th and 12 February is the chance to make your dreams come true. Children who visit the EDUCATION Expo should also come over to the FUNIVERSITY expo-booth.

In addition to presentations of the product range, the Funiversity stand will also be the stage for  workshops. The company's product assortment includes the Classroom Science Kits and  mini-experiments toys. For the whole Expo duration the company's stand include a special experiments-corner for children; kids' activities will be supervised by animators.

Every day FUNIVERCITY will focus on a number of topics, e.g. every two hours the animators will run different workshop:

"Ice-cold Experiments"  - It is cold in winter - let's use it for our experiments. Kids will have the opportunity to play the role of a true scientist and perform lots of interesting experiences; they will be using substances as cold as 80 degrees Celsius below zero. A volcano will blow to produce lots of cold smoke; volunteers may wash their hair in the cloud. The cloud will then be captured in a big soap-bubble.

Lightning theatre  - electricity is one of the most widely known and used energy forms. Here the participants will have the chance to find out what current-current is and how it is generated - they may have a go themselves (and reach 200.000V); this will be truly hair-rising experience. We shall also build a light-bulb like the one Edison once made. And we will make a flash of lightning.

"Polymer bug"  - another experiment focuses the worm !!! But this will not any worm, but a polymer-bug. We shall combine the two mysterious substances in order to create a worm with unusual properties. Expo little guests will be able to take the bug home for further observation and much more fun.

Science SHOWS - 30 minutes each.

"Tricks with no magic"  - you are going to be really having it!!! The best conjurer-tricks will be performed in the presentation! And in the show we shall call the genie out of their bottle, we will try to make out what the volunteer-participant is thinking about, we shall also conjure up heaps of snow with just a pinch of powder. This snow will not not melt in June's hot air. And then these improbable phenomena will be thoroughly explained.

TEACHERS TRAININGS

The FUNNIVERCITY offers one-hour interactive training courses for teachers.

TEACHERS TRAININGS' TOPICS

How to encourage children to explore the world of science? Working with Zrobię! [I'll do that!] and Wiem! [I know!] science sets in kindergarten and primary school. Building lesson plans around scientific experiments which involve children. The workshop topics are in line with the  kindergarten core curriculum and general education curricula for primary schools, pre-high schools and secondary schools.

CLASS SETS  cut out for teacher and pre-school educators who would like to explain the fascinating world of science. I'll do that!  - children can carry out scientific experiments themselves and thus develop their manual and cognitive skills. I know! - fond the answers to questions - children broaden their knowledge about the world and its natural laws.

Workshop:  wise and well-planned FUN makes the child gain ore practical rather than only theoretical knowledge; this is the way the child develops, advances their ability to think, to learn, to ask questions and solve problems.  Classes incorporate real  experience.
