Already on June 1 the Kielce exhibition and congress centre will be transformed into the focal point for all sport bridge fans and aficionados. The reason for this is the South-East Poland's GRAND PRIX in Duplicate Bridge organized by the Targi Kielce and Swietokrzyskie Bridge Assocation. The tournament, which will bring together almost 100 pairs is to be held in the Congress Centre's Omega Hall. The event total prize pool accounts for 4,000 PLN; Quickpack Poland Sp. Ltd. is the event partner of the event.

Duplicate Bridge is a card game; scores are based on the same bridge deal compared with the the results achieved by other players who play the same arrangement of cards. This allows to evaluate players' skills as well as to reduce the chance and randomisation element of associated with the distribution of cards. Contrary to simple bridge, the game does not take place in the system multi-task rubbers, but each deal is a separate task which is a subject for individual assessment.
