Expo Kielce Strengthens International Cooperation. Agreement with PVA EXPO PRAHA
The memorandum was signed by Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Expo Kielce, and Martin František Přívětivý, Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABF, a.s.
Both exhibition centres intend to promote each other’s events, support efforts to attract exhibitors and professional visitors, and develop projects that could operate on both the Polish and Czech markets.
“We started talking and came to the conclusion that there was real potential for us to work well together. We have identified several areas in the agreement where we would like to cooperate. I believe that within a few years we will see tangible results from this partnership,” says Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Expo Kielce.
From MSPO and ENEX to FOR BEAUTY
Specific areas of cooperation include MSPO and the planned DRON EXPO organised by ABF, TRANSEXPO and CZECHBUS, ENEX as well as E-SALON and AQUATHERM. The partnership will also cover projects related to tourism, fishing, the pet industry, children’s events, horticulture, construction and design.
One of the most interesting possibilities is the creation of FOR BEAUTY Poland. ABF organises FOR BEAUTY in the Czech Republic twice a year. The two exhibition centres now want to jointly assess the potential for a Polish edition, which could be held in Kielce.
“FOR BEAUTY is one of our Prague partners’ flagship events. We know that there is also strong demand for products from this sector in Poland. We have a large market and a significant production base that is important on a European scale,” emphasises Andrzej Mochoń.
A Strong Partner from Prague
PVA EXPO PRAHA is one of the largest exhibition centres in the Czech Republic. Located in Prague’s Letňany district, the complex offers around 37,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space. Its calendar includes events such as FOR ARCH, FOR INTERIOR, FOR FISHING, FOR BIKES, HOLIDAY WORLD, MOTOCYKL and Aquatherm.
“Poland has become increasingly attractive to Czechs in recent years – not only as a tourist destination, but, I believe, also as a business market. We have a great deal in common, and our cooperation is very important for future development,” says Martin František Přívětivý.
The agreement is not intended to limit the list of potential joint ventures. Expo Kielce and ABF plan to develop further projects and draw on their contacts and experience to strengthen the presence of their respective events in both markets.
