EUROPE'S FOLK CENTRE

29 july 2014
Targi Kielce - the first stop-by on the Europeade route

European Festival of Folk Culture Enthusiasts has been organized for 50 years in selected cities of the Old Continent. The host of the upcoming edition of this colourful event is the capital city of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship. From 23 to 27 July Kielce will become the European capital city of folk culture.

Europeade is a monumental event which involves hundreds of folk bands and artists from all over Europe. A few thousands of people singing and dancing will fill the city's streets. Targi Kielce has also became an active participant of the festival preparation process. The Kielce exhibition and congress centre will be the registration point for several thousands of participants. There will also be the information points, bars and restaurants available for the participants. Owing to its perfect location and accessibility, trade show centre has become the contact point for bands to register. The new transport and communication system makes it possible to enter the expo centre straight from the Kielce-West junction (the S7 and 74 crossroads of the Warsaw, Krakow and Lodz and Lublin trunk-roads).

Targi Kielce is also the city's flagship, thus we want foreign visitors to come and see our exhibition centre - says Marta Szczecinska - the coordinator.
