During the meeting with the media which was held in the scope of the 18th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber PLASTPOL, the representatives of the Association of Plastics Manufacturers PlasticsEurope presented new materials and interesting facts about the role and importance of plastics in sustainable development. The discussion was mainly related to resource savings, energy efficiency, climate protection, waste recycling and recovery and the plastics industry business sector's actions with regards to CSR.

The Kielce expo also encompasses a special exhibition staged in the Hall E held under the banner of "Ecology-focused expo discussion on plastics at Plastpol 2014". All those who are interested in the topic of plastics can take part in a special competition.

PlasticsEurope is a trade association head quartered in Brussels, it represents all European Union member states. The organization which represents plastic manufacturers and converters works closely with other European and national plastics industry associations; it associated 50 thousand processing companies in addition to a thousand equipment providers.
