The two-day Congress is held on 22nd and 23rd October in Targi Kielce; this event brigs together specialists who present suggestions and best practices in ecological solutions implementation and utilisation. The first day of the gathering gained extra splendour owing to the presentation delivered by Professor Leszek Woźniak PhD Hab. the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Management at the Rzeszów University of Technology. Selected institutions can join the exhibition held simultaneously with the congress and thus use the occasion to put on display their eco-innovative offer and achievement. Exhibitors and their product may join the “Eco-innovations 2013” completion; the contest results will be announced during the Gala Dinner held as a crowning element of the first Congress day. The best eco-innovative solutions will be presented with awards and accolades.

The two-day session has been composed of the four thematic panels:

• A review of institutional support.
• Best practice presentations: examples of corporate eco-innovations.
• Calculation methods of environmental impact and emissions.(carbon footprint, water footprint).
• Innovative, ecological technologies– Polish and European support instruments.

The Eco-innovativeness Congress has been organised in compliance with Eco-Congress guidelines (e.g. conference materials and voting cards have been printed on ecological paper, special attention has been placed upon lower energy consumption, catering which is based on regional products and waste segregation).
