Hubert Raptowny's two-wheeled story

DUB IT Tuning Festival - not only is the event targeted at fans of beautiful cars, but also dedicated for lovers of breathtaking motorcycle. The event will also be the stage for Hubert Raptowny to show off his abilities with the use of two wheelers.

Hubert has developed his passion for motor-bikes ever since he was a child; however at the start but could not make up his mind what to ride on. Initially he paid much attention to motocross; high-hopes were associated with this discipline as Hubert was achieving good results on a CZ Cross and Aprilia Touareg Rally motorcycles. However this was not what he wanted stick to for keeps. After several years there came the breakthrough, during his his stay in England Hubert saw the film "Las Vegas Extremes". It was back in 2002 when Hubert decided to take up Streetbike Freestyle. Hubert performed first major stunts with the use of Kawasaki ZX7R motorcycle. As the time was passing by it had turned out that Hubert's riding styleis much more destructive to motor-bikes than than regular torust-style motorcycle riding.

After returning to the Poland Hubert and a  group of his friends founded the Kamikaze Squad Lublin, the team is considered to be a stunt pioneer in our country. Joint trainings bore the fruit - Raptowny scored the first place in Bielawa in 2004 competition. In 2004 Hubert also set the record in front wheel driving with the distance of 201 m; it was with the use of Yamaha R1 bike.

In 2009 Raptowny's group won the sponsorship of OtoMoto and Allegro; the  frequency of trainings increased alongside with the members' commitment. Hubert was additionally sponsored by BMW and was thus the first sportsman officially supported by a major motorcycle company.
