Convention of local authorities at Targi Kielce

Representatives of municipalities from all over Poland have also paid a visit to the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Centre

During their four-year term of office, representatives of local authorities organize their Convention in different parts of Poland. This time they became acquainted with the potential of the Kielce fair organizer

Almost 50 chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and directors of the offices of town councils from all over Poland, following the tradition, have held a meeting in Kielce to conclude their four-year term of office. During their three-day stay in the heart of the Świętokrzyskie mountains, the officials paid a visit, among other places, to the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Centre, where they participated in a debate on Poland’s health care system.

The representatives of cities located across Poland also visited Targi Kielce, the most rapidly growing exhibition centre in the country. Having attended a presentation on the activity of Targi Kielce, participants of the Convention took a tour of the exhibition facilities, the venue for the International Defence Industry Exhibition which had been concluded the day before.

Further items on the agenda of the visit will be the ceremony of laying a wreath at the Homo Homini memorial in Kielce, attended by the Ambassador of the United States of America, a concert at the recently redecorated Kadzielnia Amphitheatre, as well as a sightseeing tour of the Monastery of the Cistercian Order in Wąchock.
