The Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry has been operating since 2006 as a chamber of commerce for entrepreneurs in the exhibition industry and industries related to the organisation of fairs, exhibitions and events. In the period of 2010–2011, Andrzej Mochoń was the President of the PCEI, Council, and later he was appointed Vice-President, the position he still holds.
- The exhibition industry is a living organism that keeps changing and transforming. This industry is affected by crises, now the war in Ukraine and inflation - says President Andrzej Mochoń. At the same time, this is a positive industry that builds business relationships based on trust. Not only is Targi Kielce well-known and valued for its exhibitions. We keep working on creating new events. Since last year we have held several very successful trade fairs, such as the Polsecure Expo dedicated to uniformed services, the Congress and Expo for Roofers, Tinsmiths and Carpenters ROOF FORUM and Slavic B2Beauty contracting show for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry. The IN-PACK Packaging Industry Expo and the LogInPack International Congress for the logistics industry are in the pipeline, making their debut in autumn. The Private Brands Expo returns to our calendar in a new unveiling. There is still a lot to do, not only in our centre, but also in the Council of PCEI. I am glad that I have another 4 years to do my job,” adds President Mochoń.
The mission of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry is to promote the expo as one of the most essential instruments for direct communication and marketing offered for companies from various sectors of the economy. PCEI encourages entrepreneurs to participate in the trade fairs as exhibitors and visitors.
Targi Kielce is one of Poland's two trade fair and exhibition market leaders. Among all Central and Eastern Europe's expo organisers, the Kielce Centre is ranked second with regards to the number of exhibitors and with respect to exhibition space leased. Targi Kielce has proven to be a leading city-forming factor – Targi Kielce's business activity has primarily contributed to the development of the City's and the Region's trade fair-related and business-tourism infrastructure. The company also cares for the promotion of the city on the international arena.
