The EDUKACJA expo is famous for its accompanying and fringe events galore - workshops, training sessions, meetings with writers. This year's expo is held on 11 and 12 February This year, the 3rd and 4th graders have a chance to meet Grzegorz Kasdepke, the author of books for children and young people. Kasdepke was born in 1972 in Bialystok. He is the author of books for children and young people as well as
radio plays creator. From 1995 to 2000 Kasdepke was the chief editor of the  "Świerszczyk" magazine for children. 
He has also made screenplays for TV series for the youngest viewers (Ciuchcia, Budzik, Podwieczorek u Mini i Maxa). 

Kasdepke is the Kornel Makuszyński Award laureate (for the book "Kacperiada ..."), the two-times winner of the XXI Awards Educational (for the book "What does it mean ..." and "Bon or tone"). His best-selling books have been granted numerous accolades (Polish Section of inBY award for the "Horror, or where babies come from", the honourable mention in the best book of the year competition for "Rod", the "Small pen" prize for books series featuring Kuba and Bubi).

He has cooperated wit the following publishing houses: Nasza Księgarnia, Literatura, Dwie Siostry, G+J,Egmont, Wydawnictwo Literackie, Wilga.
