Description
ARP E-VEHICLES is a company belonging to the Industrial Development Agency (ARP). The ARP E-VEHICLES electric bus is the result of many years of research and concept work by an experienced team of Polish engineers and constructors of the ARP E-VEHICLES company.
The result of these works is an innovative bus, which from the beginning was designed and constructed as an electric bus, and not as an adaptation of the structure with an internal combustion engine. The bus contains many innovative solutions. All the batteries were placed under the chassis instead of on the roof, which did not prevent the floor from being completely low. It also allowed to reduce the height of the body to less than 3.2 m and lower the center of gravity of the vehicle, which improved its traction parameters, positively influencing the behavior of the bus while cornering.
The construction of the vehicle skeleton in self-supporting technology from materials with increased strength parameters and the use of external sheathing elements made of aluminum and polyester laminates reduced the weight of the vehicle, and consequently increased its range by approx. 10%.
The multi-phase synchronous motor with permanent magnets guarantees greater efficiency and overload of the engine, better vehicle performance and increased range on a single charge. The use of innovative fast charging batteries of the LTO type (Lithium Titanium Oxide) guarantees fast charging in 15 minutes to 90% of their capacity. Optionally, installing an NMC battery allows for stationary charging and a range of up to 300 km.
The bus is made in almost 60% of Polish components, and thanks to the electric motor it is quiet and ecological. Adapted for the transport of disabled people, equipped with a ramp and kneeling system,
ARP E-VEHICLES offers city and suburban buses as well as in a special version for transporting children (commonly known as Gimbuses), all in variants with a length of 8.5 10.0 meters and 12 m. The bus is equipped with NMC batteries with a capacity of 142 kWh with a range of up to 140 km and its own on-board charger. The bus is equipped with a hybrid heating system (diesel-electric), air conditioning, electronic direction boards, video surveillance, free Wi-Fi, and phone chargers.
