The Property Security Laboratory operating within the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Warsaw Institute of Technology conducts research on products within the scope of AB 035 accreditation, granted by the Polish Center for Accreditation. It also carries out standardization activities referring mechanical security devices and building partitions (participation in works of international and European technical standardization committees, the standards’ development and reviewing). The scope of the Laboratory's activities also includes licensing in the field of manufacturing and trading of explosives, weapons and ammunition, as well as technologies for police or military use. The Laboratory also specializes on the professional qualifications recognition, including justification and assessment of the effects of regulation, as well providing nameplates for equipment evaluated and certified by the Institute.
