IntElect - all electric injection machine series
- IntElect – a series of energy-saving, all electric injection molding machines available from 50t to 500t of clamping force. The machines in this series are characterized by the innovative technical thought of Sumitomo engineers using direct drive technology by own design. These drives provide greater energy efficiency, dynamics, and lower noise levels, thanks to which the machine's operation achieves higher precision and repeatability and a shorter cycle time compared to indirect drives. The IntElect series also offers up to 80% greater energy efficiency compared to hydraulic machines. The series also includes IntElect S models with increased injection speed and fast mold movements, which are perfect for the medical and packaging sectors.

activeMeltControl (automatic melt control)
activeMeltControl (automatic melt control)
The activeMeltControl function is an adaptive software that dynamically adjusts the V/P switch point (speed → pressure) and the holding pressure value to compensate for fluctuations in the injection weight resulting from changes in the melt viscosity. In addition, the system compensates for leaks that may occur when closing the Ring-RSP check valve.
activeMeltControl is a combination of two functions:
- Leakage compensation when closing the RSP by correcting the switch point
- Viscosity fluctuations compensation by adjusting the switch point and holding pressure
