Yamazaki Mazak is one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of metal‑cutting machine tools, laser systems, automation solutions and CNC software. Since opening its European production plant in Worcester, UK in 1987, Mazak has remained a pioneer in designing and building high‑precision equipment tailored to European industry. The 29,000 m² facility employs over 900 engineers, technologists and technicians who support customers in advancing their machining knowledge and achieving production excellence.

An integrated global support network
Mazak’s network of Technology and Technical Centres spans over 70 countries. Across Europe, customers benefit from 15 Technology Centres and 4 Technical Centres offering direct access to cutting‑edge machining solutions. Each centre showcases the latest innovations, provides hands-on machine testing, application consulting and practical training. Specialist teams work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions that enhance production efficiency. In Poland, Mazak operates from three locations: Katowice, Poznań and a service office in Rzeszów.

Parts and service built for uptime
Mazak’s European Parts Centre in Leuven, Belgium supports customers with a stock of more than 35,000 individual components. Handling around 20,000 orders per month and achieving a same‑day shipment rate of 97%, the centre ensures downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.

Mazak supports users throughout the entire lifecycle of their machines — from installation and commissioning to routine maintenance and operational training. Technology and Technical Centres deliver comprehensive training programmes for machine operators and maintenance teams, equipping them with the skills needed to run Mazak equipment safely, efficiently and to its full capability.

Committed to sustainable innovation
Mazak invests heavily in environmentally responsible technologies, aiming to cut its carbon footprint by 50% and quadruple machine energy efficiency by 2030. The NEO series embodies this strategy, combining advanced performance with reduced energy consumption. The VARIAXIS i‑800 NEO, for example, generates 22.7% less CO₂ than its predecessor, reinforcing Mazak’s position as a leader in sustainable manufacturing.
Mazak’s environmental commitment also extends to local initiatives. Since 2024, the company has maintained a beehive installation at its Technology Centre in Katowice — a practical contribution to biodiversity and pollinator protection, and a symbolic expression of Mazak’s dedication to environmental responsibility.
