The history of the Terplast Sp. z o. o. dates back to 1984. At that time, a new production company appeared on the map of Sieradz - the first in the string production industry in central Poland.

The next few years of activity are marked by dynamic development: the launch of the second production building in Sieradz, the takeover of the Chemitex plant in Sochaczew and Agro-Poli in Stróża in the province of Lublin.

Today Terplast Sp. z o. o. has over three decades of operation and countless kilometers of produced twine. More than 100 types are produced: agricultural twines, packaging twines, cords for gardening, horticulture and construction as well as for food, as well as polypropylene yarns and ropes. Sieradzki Terplast is also a leader in the domestic production of strapping (packaging) tapes. The company's assortment is completed with nets for bales and films for haylage.
