Visitors from the Czech Republic call in Targi Kielce! Representatives of the Třebíč city authorities are delighted to see the centre’s possibilities
On Friday, 7 July, a letter of intent was signed between the City of Kielce and the authorities of the Czech city of Třebíč, which is the first step towards starting partnership cooperation. As part of the visit, the delegation from the Czech Republic visited Targi Kielce and the conference rooms of the Congress Centre. The praise and nice words were endless.
The Kielce exhibition and congress centre’s facilities and conference rooms were presented by the Director of the Targi Kielce Congress Centre, Andrzej Kiercz. Mr Kiercz described flagship exhibitions and presented the results. The presentation was supplemented by Bożena Staniak, Vice-President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce, who recapitulated the last six months and indicated the nearest investment plans of Targi Kielce.
- The pandemic period was difficult for all of us, especially for the meetings industry, thus it was a hard time for us too. The last six months have been very successful; the spring exhibition season has instilled an optimistic mood again. We are even considering possibilily of constructing a new expo hall – stressed Bożena Staniak.
Guests visiting the Kielce exhibition and congress centre were greatly impressed by the scale of its business activities, the possibilities of conference rooms of the Congress Centre and the bespoke arrangement depending on various forms of events, e.g. concerts, fight sports galas, banquets, trainings or congresses.
Miloš Hrůza, deputy mayor of Třebíč, city councillor Tomáš Chlachula, as well as spokeswoman Irini Martakidisová, Director of the Municipal Cultural Centre Nikola Černá and event organization specialist Lucia Maňásková were among the visitors to Targi Kielce.
The letter of intent concluded between the cities will enable mutual promotion, exchange of experience and cooperation. Třebíč is a town of about 40,000 inhabitants located in the south of Bohemia, in Moravia, it is considered one of the most valuable cities in the country. The city has vibrantly developed.
