PREBENA PKT HYBRID - NEW WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY - no gas, no hoses, no extension cords
For over three years, German engineers have been working on the construction of a new driving device; with the use of wireless technology based on compressed air that has been available on the market for several years. The PKT System combined with the newest possibilities of power tools has made it possible to create the only such hybrid in the world - PKT HYBRID. As a result, a completely new, wireless device with outstanding parameters and excellent performance is presented to the market - high driving force by compressed air and electric drive from the battery for extended working time.
The PKT-8-PR100 device uses lithium-ion high-current LiHD batteries from the CAS (Cordless Alliance System), which associates manufacturers of other tools, such as: Metabo, Rothenberger, Mafell, Eisenblätter, Collomix, Haaga, Electrostar (Starmix), Eibenstock, Steinel, Rokamat, Elried / edding, Birchmeier, fischer, Cembre, Pressfit and Jöst. A total of 17 companies and 180 different devices use the same battery. An additional element that provides adequate power is compressed air, which is introduced into the closed system of the device at the first start-up, through the cylinder, included in the set. The nailer is available in two variants and is dedicated to two types of nails: PR - paper connected at 34 degrees angle (with a D-shaped head) or RKP nails - paper/plastic merged 21 degrees angle (with a full head). In both cases, the length of the nails can be up to 100mm. In addition, versions with short and long magazines will be available. The tool is equipped with a digital module designed to adjust the driving parameters. The device also sends basic messages to the user, e.g. inspection/service need. During the nailer design phase and at a later testing phase, great attention was paid to parameters such as driving force and speed, which resulted in a result of 1.5 shots/second. Designers also focused on an important element, which is the weight of the device, to ensure appropriate ergonomics and comfort of work; thus, components made of high-quality aluminium and magnesium alloys, which are characterized by lightness and durability. The weight of the tool without the battery is 3.9 kg.
