Located in the German city of Hanau, BritAS Recycling-Anlagen GmbH manufactures high performance, full-automatic band melt filtration technology. Since 1993 BritAS is well known for their distinctive ABMF technology for post-consumer, which is installed in most of the global leading plastic recycling companies.
The ABMF technology is available in several models for different applications. From discontinuous to continuous melt process , the ABMF family covers all process needs. All types are able to perform with different polyolefins, focusing on the lowest melt loss possible and thus reduced operational costs. Furthermore, one of the highlights of the ABMF is the possibility to operate with very fine filtration for several materials. In the case of polyester and other low viscosity plastics the awarded ABMF-PET-C completes the ABMF technology. In PET applications the filtration level can go down to 20µm and can handle higher contamination contents. For post-industrial and manufacturing applications BritAS offers their piston screen technology to complete the product portfolio.
