Alumide - SLS
Alumide is a material used in 3D printing, composed of polyamide (PA12) and fine-grained aluminum powders. Its unique mechanical properties result from this mixture. Strength: Alumide is harder and stiffer than pure polyamide, thanks to the addition of aluminum, but it is less elastic. Heat resistance: Alumide has better thermal resistance than pure polyamide, making it more resistant to high temperatures.

Glass beads increase resistance to impact, wear, and improve thermal properties. In 3D printing, PA12GB is often used in SLS technology, for the production of precise mechanical parts, prototypes, tools, and even ready-to-use products.

PA2210FR, also known as Fire Retardant Polyamide 2210, is a specific variant of Polyamide 2210 (PA2210) that has been modified to be fire-resistant. This material is often used in the 3D printing industry, especially where there is a need to meet rigorous fire safety standards. PA2210FR is characterized by excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, and dimensional stability, which translates into high precision of printed parts. Additionally, PA2210FR also retains resistance to chemicals, oils, and fuels. The key difference, however, is an additional property - fire resistance in accordance with the UL-94 V0 standard. This makes PA2210FR particularly attractive for the aviation, automotive, and all kinds of applications that require compliance with fire safety standards.

PA2241FR is a thermoplastic polyamide with the addition of special ingredients to improve fire resistance. Thanks to these modifications, this material is self-extinguishing and produces low smoke and toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire. PA2241FR also retains the beneficial characteristics typical of polyamides, such as mechanical strength, flexibility and dimensional stability. This material is more attractive in price than PA2210FR due to better refreshing parameters and the lack of the UL94 V0 standard.
