Baumalog – what we do

We implement the idea of “Industry 4.0” in the field of sheet metal and profile processing. Our activity focuses on developing new work organization, optimizing the flow of materials and data, and designing and building automated machine systems related to sheet metal and profile processing.

Our solutions enable:
1. Significantly increase the efficiency and productivity of steel processing machines. For example, laser cutting machines often achieve only 30-40% of their potential efficiency due to long waiting times for raw material, lack of collection of parts after cutting, lack of an operator. Thanks to our systems, it is possible to increase this indicator even to 90%.

2. Improvement of material flow, optimization of storage area, improvement of work ergonomics. The use of an automated storage system allows full use of the height of the room, which can significantly save space. The stored material can be delivered directly to the machines or near them, which limits the use of forklifts and shortens the waiting time for material, which is also easily identifiable. Automation of storage and transport also creates a better workplace – we improve ergonomics, and we can completely eliminate some labor-intensive activities carried out in the past.

We do this by building systems consisting of automated storage systems, transport systems and automation for loading and unloading materials onto, for example, laser cutting tables. We integrate our control software with ERP, CAD/CAM systems and interfaces of steel processing machines, enabling effective and efficient planning and full traceability of production. Thanks to automation and integration of machines with systems, it is possible to work without the constant presence of an operator at the machine, including at night and on weekends (24/7/365)

Baumalog – who we are
We are a Polish company operating since 2011 and employing over 80 people. Our structure includes a team of designers, an R&D department, an automation and software department, and we have a production and assembly hall. We have extensive experience and the ability to integrate our systems with 11 manufacturers of laser cutting machines, including: Amada, BLM, Durma, Eagle, Mazak, Mitsubishi, LVD, Salvagnini, TCI, Trumpf and CAD/CAM systems such as Lantek, CADMAN, SigmaNest.

During our activity we have implemented over 150 projects in Europe and in the USA, Singapore and India.
