APAM – Smart Beekeeping Scale

APAM is a modern apiary monitoring system that combines the functions of a smart hive scale, environmental analysis, and bee colony health monitoring. The solution was designed for modern beekeepers who want constant access to data about their hives, regardless of where their apiary is located.

A single APAM device can support up to 5 hives at the same time. All collected data is sent to a dedicated dashboard available on the APAM Web OS platform, allowing users to monitor their apiary from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Key Features

APAM is equipped with a smart scale that monitors the entire hive and analyzes weight gains and losses. This allows beekeepers to evaluate colony activity, nectar flow intensity, honey production, and quickly identify unusual changes.

The device also measures:

internal hive temperature,
external temperature,
humidity,
apiary location thanks to the built-in GPS module.

Additionally, APAM can be equipped with an AI camera mounted at the hive entrance. The camera regularly analyzes bee movement and colony health, generating clear reports and charts. The system can warn users about possible varroa mite infestation, nosema disease, and detect signs of swarming.

The combination of the scale, environmental sensors, and AI camera makes APAM a complete solution for monitoring the entire apiary.

Durability and Ease of Use

APAM was designed to operate in demanding outdoor conditions. Its metal construction ensures resistance to rain, snow, frost, high temperatures, and strong sunlight. The device is compatible with Wielkopolski, Dadant, and Ostrowska hive types.

Configuration and scale calibration are very simple – all that is needed is a smartphone near the apiary. Thanks to the intuitive system, users can quickly start monitoring their hives.

Power Supply and Connectivity

The device is equipped with a built-in solar panel and can also be connected to a dedicated external solar panel for year-round operation. Thanks to a special ECO mode, the device can operate for up to 20 days without additional charging.

APAM also features a proprietary Solar Charger system that monitors battery status online. The device supports two communication options:

Wi‑Fi – ideal for backyard apiaries,
GSM – intended for apiaries located far from buildings.

APAM Basic – monitors temperature, humidity, and GPS location, with the possibility of future expansion with scales, an AI camera, and a solar panel.

APAM Standard – includes a scale for monitoring one hive and can be expanded to support up to 5 hives.

APAM Premium AI – a complete set including a scale, GPS, sensors, and an AI camera for full hive monitoring.
