Description
Tongwei Solar, based in southwestern China, entered the PV market in 2006 and has grown into a fully integrated PV enterprise, covering the entire industry chain. It is the first PV enterprise listed in the Fortune Global 500. Tongwei leads globally in polysilicon production with an over 850,000-ton capacity and has topped global solar cell shipments for seven years, with a 126 GW capacity. In late 2022, Tongwei entered the module business and ranked 5th in global shipments by 2023, with a capacity of 85 GW. Tongwei serves clients in over 40 countries with modules for various scenarios.
