We have been manufacturing and selling highquality roof windows and accessories across
Europe since 2001. Altaterra was established 20
years ago as part of the privately-owned Danish
group VKR Holding, with the purpose to make
daylight and fresh air available to everyone. In
2012, Altaterra introduced DAKEA, a new roof
window brand designed for smart professionals.
Today, Altaterra is part of VELUX Group, a longestablished roof window manufacturer, yet operates as an autonomous entity. We deliver
products in more than 30 countries and employ ca.
130 people across Europe.
