AIESS Cloud is a supervisory platform for managing a fleet of energy storage systems across multiple sites. It provides a central fleet view, KPI reporting, policy configuration and remote strategy overrides (“operator as the boss”) while preserving local autonomy at each site (Edge + AIESS Energy Core).
The platform enables grouping sites into logical clusters, benchmarking performance across locations, and securely distributing configuration and model updates.
The architecture is designed to scale from single sites to industrial fleets and is VPP-ready for future asset aggregation.
AIESS Cloud is the supervisory layer in a cascaded edge–cloud architecture for multi-site operation. Key functions:

AIESS Energy Core – Autonomous Energy Management System
AIESS Energy Core – Autonomous Energy Management System
AIESS Energy Core is an autonomous energy management system that replaces fixed price thresholds (buy/sell) with multi-variable, data-driven optimization.
It analyzes day-ahead (RDN) and intraday prices, learns a site-specific load profile (ML), accounts for PV forecast, battery cycle cost (degradation) and grid import/export limits. Every 15 minutes it generates an optimal schedule (charge/discharge/buffer) and sends setpoints to the local edge layer.
Operators can provide operational inputs in natural language (e.g., planned downtime), which are incorporated into the schedule. Edge–cloud architecture ensures continuity even without permanent internet connectivity.
AIESS Energy Core operates as an independent Decision Layer in a cascaded edge–cloud architecture:
• Edge Layer: real-time control, safety functions and offline execution of the schedule.
• Energy Core: multi-variable optimization and schedule generation every 15 minutes.
• AIESS Platform (Cloud): fleet overview, reporting, model updates and strategy overrides by the operator.
