Description
ICMA San Giorgio produces advanced and complete lines based on twin-screw extruders for re-cycling, up-cycling and re-compounding.
RE-cycling - typical re-granulation of waste requiring strong degassing and good filtering (e.g. moist, printed, multi-layer waste, etc.),
UP-cycling – mixing of at least two types of plastics, often incompatible with each other, in order to achieve a product with unique properties (e.g. waste from used electrical and electronic equipment WEEE),
RE-compounding – adding (mixing) non-plastic materials (e.g. mineral fillers, natural fillers (making eco products), fibers) to melted waste.
