Description
Universal Motion Simulation (UMS) is an innovative developer of high fidelity robotic vehicle motion simulators for applications where mission success depends upon a high degree of operator training when operating up to the limits of a vehicle’s performance envelope.
UMS was established in 2017 to commercialise technology developed by Deakin University in collaboration with the Australian Army. UMS is contracted to supply driver training simulators with through-life support to the Australian Army for the Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle, M1A2 Main Battle Tank, M1A1 Armoured Engineering Vehicles, M88 Armoured Recovery Vehicle and is the recommended supplier of driver training simulators for the planned Infantry Fighting Vehicle, and the K9 Thunder Self-Propelled Howitzer.
