Description
Since its inception in 1946, Łukasiewicz - Electrotechnical Institute (Łukasiewicz-IEL) is a leading unit in Poland in the field of cooperation with the energy and electrical industry, dealing with the construction and improvement of manufactured and used electrotechnical products.
Łukasiewicz - the Electrotechnical Institute is a beneficiary of projects co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development and by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis I "The use of research and development activities in the economy" of the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for 2014-2020, Measure 1.2 "Research and development activities of enterprises"
We provide support for companies wishing to develop new technical solutions or develop and improve existing products. On the basis of the latest knowledge in the field of science and technology and using the research possibilities of the laboratories owned, R&D works are carried out in many areas of electrical engineering with a strong emphasis on implementation.
We are accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation (PCA) to conduct research and certification in accordance with Polish and European standards.
In terms of the power industry, we introduce the idea of a circular economy (circular economy) in the area of material engineering, with particular emphasis on the recycling of composite insulators, wind turbines, mineral nonwovens and ceramic insulators.
